The morning was a mixture of jobs and a ride in the MK7 to the creek and back for photos.
Then pm I connected the two buzzers for the indicators on the Talbot. That took 2 hours almost.
Then I swapped over the Alpine bumper fittings and cleaned the good one. It did not look right - then I remembered I'd forgotten the over riders.
Next I fitted the big Talbot badge. Finally I took TAS out - it did not engage the started four times - odd - just a loud clunk. I'll do the normal battery tests but it sound like the starter motor. Once started I picked up Nigel for a run around the block. The kids wanted a ride too 'driving stylishly' said EB - so we reversed back to their house.
Then around the block and home. Off went the Daimler, back to its own garage.
As to the E-type I'm convinced it is the Dynator overcharging that killed the battery.
