More bloody rain and an overcast, cold day. AM I went under the Talbot to look for the solenoid serial number. Nice thing about vintage cars - they are high off the ground.

Then pottered playing with the model. Cutting off the rear to make it a better shape.
I also gave it a coat of paint too after bending the boot up and filling the gaps.
However I did find that on the real one the light fittings on the indicators are the same thread as garden hoses ! So I set about working out how to fit something. While I was doing that our MP (well the old one) James Cartlidge popped his head in the garage door looking for the letterbox - he got three shocks. 1. When I popped out to meet him, 2. That I knew who he was and 3. when he saw the cars in the garage - a 1933 Talbot and Aston Martin V12 Vantage.
