Progress and a Night Drive

So SAAB had been loaded the night before for an early run to work on the Alpine. We were there and working on the rear lights just after 9:30. Mind you it took until 10:30 to get the two light clusters in - only to find one had the bolts spinning so I can't tighten it down. I'll have to look at the other unit I have.

I then started on the front which took me more than two hours to put in one side, but only one and a half to put in the other side.

One side light is a bit dull, but I'll add that to my list of post restoration fixes. Then the rear bumper and finally what I came for a door.

Then home and out to the RGEA meeting to show off the Talbot. It did look good - and quite small vs John's Sunbeam.

Meanwhile at the other end of the car park were the Tiger boys (and a rogue Alpine) not forgetting the Humber Imperial too.

Finally home again and although it was getting dark the Talbot behaved itself, until we got home and one of the lights went out - another loose wire - so I'll add that to my list too.
