Topping Up

Alpine soft top fitting first thing. Not as easy as it sounds. The first problem was that the screws on the lit stuck out and would catch the soft top - so I added plastic covers for the screws.

Then another sharp bit - the edge of the soft top frame - so I ground that down.

Two hours later I'd got some of the screws in for the rear. Then after lunch I got the rest in and tried to get the top to clip on the windscreen. Ah - no go there.

Ah - this side would not clamp down - so I'll have to undo the bolts on the windscreen on that side and see if I can change the angle a bit. 

Finally a MK7 ride to Harkstead and back.
