Fourth Time

Lots pf pollen on the SAAB first thing, cold but at least the sun is out.

It's that season. Having finished the DIY after lunch I decided to try to spring the Imp from Harkstead as we were due there anyway, So loaded up the SAAB and off we went. I thought it 'stuttered' once or twice but I hope it was my imagination.

So the usual process of heater on while I put some oil on the rockers each side of the engine, check the water, oil and reset the tyres. The oil was fine (if a little dirty) and there was water in the top of the radiator, with very little on the floor and no fuzz around the pipe this year.

It was a bit hard to start (probably lack of fuel) but fired up fine after a few goes. Oil pressure very good at just over 50 psi but then it was quite cold.

All in all only took 30 mins and then it was a quick dash home. I also realised it's the fourth time I'd started her up after the Winter.

Then back to Harkstead to collect the SAAB. Oh - not my imagination then. One stutter and one flash of the 'check engine' light. Ho Hum.
