I finished off the gate first thing. Then after lunch decided it was car time at last. The sun was still out - several days now - although the roads are covered in salt and mud.
First up was the Imp - parked to show the fence off too.
I just powered through the wheel wobble and she went well. Wrapped up this time in my old coat so I was snug and warm. Filled up with petrol - well 25 litres more - to refresh what was in the tank.
Then Ferrari out again.
This time it seemed just as good - although a little juddery at times. However the steering wheel wobbles a bit too so perhaps I'm not imagining it is worse than it actually is. However the deeper noise of the carbs is definitely there.
Finally the E-type. Again a photo-call by the new fence.
First I added more fuel topping the tank up again. I then decided to do the circuit again - to bed it in. Just as I was congratulating myself it gave a stutter. In fact it did a stutter a couple of times. I found that it was on accelerating and putting my foot down a lot. Acceleration was fine, as was quick driving, but trying to get going quickly from being stopped it stutters.
I'll do the plugs and see if that helps. Actually the E-type needs several jobs. I'll have to make a list.
Too busy and cold for the Talbot by then so that will have to wait. Everything needs a clean now too.
