Seemed like a SAAB Day - but Over in Dinard ...

So off to the allotment AM to fix a leaking pipe fitting and cut back some undergrowth. Loaded the 'van' with the tools and off we went.

Only to find the road closed for pothole filling work. I went the other way round but luckily the traffic was light. After cutting back tehe overhanging trees I was knackered (it was 28 degrees and I was working in full sun) so I did a bit of mowing. The machine is still very rough so I decided to come back after lunch and look at it.

I won't say I did a full service - or that it was a lot better - but having cleaned the spark plug and fed it some oil (it was basically empty) it started better and seemed slightly less rough.

The Home in SAAB again but via the creek to look for dragonflies.

There were quite few but was so hot I had to come back after a few shots.

Early evening run to Stutton for babysitting - and that was that. No classic action in the sunshine.

Although I spotted my photo on the screen at the Dinard Concours celebration dinner.

I guess it's the last time it will be used - but great to see it again. I really should get it printed ...
