Slab and Chicken

So today the new slab went down.

Machines including a huge concrete lorry turning up. It was done in a day which was good - although I still need to do some sorting out, tidying up and re-do the drains etc.

Now it's done I'm not sure what I'm going to do next. Anyway the MK2 looked good sitting in the sunlight - when I moved it back - even if the paint continues to fade.

Then I 'tested' the SAAB ahead of taking it tomorrow. It was fine of course so I gave it a treat.

Running though my many options I decided:

Talbot ? The right choice but just driving it 200 miles up and back on the A14 was a bit unappealing.

Ferrari ? Too flash.

E-Type ? Slight leak from the clutch master cylinder.

Imp ? - Er No.

MK2 ? Again not that appealing for a commute.

Alpine ? I'd even forgotten that in my reckoning - but again no point.

So I chickened out and will take the SAAB.
