Overlooked, Overdrive and Overdoing it

So a full day on the Alpine was planned but first an early SAAB run for a pick up. Still quite cold but not quite frozen.

The I got the door ready for fitting and about two hours later it was on and about half an hour later it was almost right.

I'd been heating the Talbot up so that got started after lunch and then put away for later. Then we collected the MK2 - with it's fresh brake pipes and a new MOT. 

Then back to the Alpine door and the window etc. That took almost two more hours and by the time I'd looked at other things and adjusted the door again it was gone 6:00. So no Talbot run and instead a quick shower, and the Alpine went for a run.

Well - after trouble starting her she did - even with the booster pack, but I suspect that was not applied correctly. Anyway a great run around the block to blow the cobwebs away - me and the car enjoying the cool air.

Finally - back into the bubble for more work tomorrow. Although I do feel I've overdone it ...
