Another Alpine day. Bitterly cold wind though so I decided to shuffle the cars around and work in the garage. So Imp and MK2 moved out of the way.
So two hours later they were in - well mostly in anyway.
After lunch we refitted the windscreen and I got on with the rear pegs. So another hour down and they were in place too after some careful measurement.
Seems a good fit too - I could do with adding another peg or two and re-do the wrap around bits where the quarter lights go - but we're back in the game.
Then a much delayed Talbot run out too - around the block just to get her warm again.
There are only 27 years between these two - would you believe it ? 1933 and 1960. Finally a late night run in the Alpine to the RGEA meeting. A good turn out for April too and lots of kind words about the car. It did look good though.
Warmer than I expected - especially on the way back in the dark. Home at last and packed back in the bubble by 9:45. That was worth it I thought.
