Don't Panic Captain Mannering !

So out first thing as UBER to Stutton. Cold and misty at 8:00 but not as cold as 7:15 when I was on my bike.

SAAB felt 'odd' like yesterday but I could not put my finger on it. Anyway I decided to warm the Ferrari up and see if that made it better. Well...

But first I got the Alpine out and cleaned the plugs. They really needed it. I last did them when I got the car started in August.

I know it's running rich and I really should get it tuned up now. However back to the 308 ...

A few pops and bangs on start up and one on the way out of the drive but it soon cleared. I should have been a bit more confident in it I guess. So I put it away and told myself not to be so jumpy next time.

Then mid afternoon it was Alpine time - up to Stutton in the sunshine.

And yes - if you know where to look you can spot the touch up - but it will have to wait until another year !
