Two Jobs - Two Fails - and a Ford Alpine

PM I thought I'd get back into the cars so decided to start with the Imp shims. I undid the U bolts and lifted the car up.

On both sides. It still would not come apart. Am I doing something wrong ?

That cleared away I decided to do the Alpine indicator. I put in the new one and no power to anything - odd. I checked the fuse and we were fine. So I tried the ignition and yes it was working again.

I made a cross over wire with my new super-tool (it really does work) and tried again. No ignition - at all ! This is where we were some time at Lee's too. So I know we'll overcome it, but I decided to do a 'Barnard' - it was John Barnard the F1 designed/engineer that said he stopped work and tried again another day when it looked impossible. So I did.

No Alpine to the RGEA then - and it rained hard anyway - and that our lucky starts we got to Glemham and back. Off I went in the SAAB and there was a Humber Super Snipe and an Alpine ... with a Ford Zetec engine.

Oh well I thought at least it goes - unlike mine.
