Counting Forwards ?

I thought I'd take the Talbot out as it was sunny this morning. She started fine so off too Shotley Marina we went to drop something off. I got a few looks driving in from the chaps who work there - but they are probably used to it.

Obviously I could not resist a picture as well. Actually several - but the sun was very bright.

I did notice the steering is quite hard going around corners and it feel like the car is scrubbing the front tyres. I must remember it is 91 years old too. Re-calibrate.

In the afternoon I took the Imp out (before the rain came) and noticed that has very direct quick steering. I also 'drove through' the wheel wobble - e.g. just sped up not slowed down. It was much better.

Around the block we wizzed and it seemed to like the cooler air too - it is much more bumpy than the Talbot though.

I then thought we'd better re-arrange the cars for the Ferrari tomorrow. Not sure how I'm going to cope with all these toys. So Alpine off to the bottle bank and around the block again. That's a bit bumpy and noisy too - only 64 years old though.

I also thought that the Alternator light went out when I put the rest of the lights on using the panel switch - or it might have been an illusion. More to sort out. While under the dash I spotted this.

Yep - I'd left the LED torch under the dash all night. Dho !

Finally we moved the bubble back to the carport and parked the Alpine back in it.

I guess I'll have to have the Aston out for a while and put the Ferrari away.
