Alpine Time to Shine

So the final day of the frenetic activity of the last few weeks came to a happy ending, with the Alpine home after running well to and from Glemham - less clonks and bangs too after I had screwed things down in the engine bay on Thursday.

We'd started out early for Glemham and the traffic was light all the way to the entrance. Joining the cars already on the RGEA stand we swung in next to a Tiger and there we were - mission accomplished - we were at the show !

After a bit of banter about the colour [I definitely still see it as a slightly orange red] we settled down to car chat and wandering around. The show was a bit better organised and laid out this year.

So which red is which ?

Finally we left about 4:00 and drove out with the minimum of fuss. The car enjoyed the run back - although slow running is still a bit lumpy - but even the heavy traffic across the bridge was shrugged off. One odd things was that the temperature gauge seemed to go up and down rapidly - another electrical gremlin I think.

So 'That's All Folks', well for now at least and I can leave the cars alone.

Oh but I mention the Ferrari is probably going to be ready next week ?
