"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results". See below:
We'll come back to that though.
We started the day visiting the boat in the MK7 with the GTs - we were looking after then as Oli had to get his eye looked at - at the Heath. I spotted that yellow MG again when we arrived and showed it to Monty while Jana took EB down to the boat.
They both enjoyed the boat, although they were a bit wary of it - probably without Mummy and Daddy there to support them.
After lunch I decided to look at the Alpine flashers again. That's where the madness started. Each unit worked for a while and then I managed to blow two fiddling.
I worked out what I was doing wrong though so after careful rewriting with #3 I got the result I wanted - we had flashing indicators. Well one mind you, as three out of four bulbs don't actually flash - but it is progress. It also appeared to have no power to the flasher terminal itself but as I had to retire everything anyway I did not think there was a problem just running a new live in.
So after everything replicated as before I managed to blow the final unit. It flashed about 10 times and then gave up.
So did I.
