Shot across the bows ?

So all morning - and a bit more  - I worked through my check list of 'wheel wobble' causes on the Imp.

I greased everything I could. One shock absorber was a bit loose but that was all I could find. That took me about 30 mis to grease and re-bolt though.

Lunchtime I spotted two of my pictures in the recent VSCC bulletin - which was nice.

They even spelt my name correctly.

After that I was stumped so I retreated to taking more pictures and took the SAAB to the creek. Nice few shots of dragonflies though.

Then early evening the Talbot crossed my mind. I also though with the sun back out the Ipswich Marina shot looked on. So that's where we went. Ah now two problems. First when I put the lights on the car stalled - I tried them on the drive because the charging went up when I put the spot lights on - odd.  Well as I put the lights on it turned the ignition off - and the car stopped - odder !

The picture on the Marina road was nice - although the sun was too strong [too early in the year] and I tried the start the car in gear which it refused to do. Good.

Home again and I tried the 'light/ignition' switch and it seems it might just be a bit sticky and loosing contact as it moved into the light side of the switch. So it was not the total fuck-up I suspected.
