Pottered most of the morning - looked at pics and then checked the Talbot oil and water - as predicted 1/2 pint of oil and a little water. When I dipped the oil a second time it looked higher so perhaps I've topped up too much.
Checking the notes on the fuel and miles the stats say 16/17 mph - so I think I have found the level to fill to. Jana still says do 200 miles between fill ups though.
I then made a note of all the parts in the tool bins and tried to re-set the jubilee clip on the expansion bottle. No really successful though.
Then late PM off to the shops for parts etc. So here we are at the plumbers merchants in the Aston.
A couple of quizzical looks - but the DIY job saved the petrol money.
