OH SHIT - and a Night Drive

I warmed the Talbot up again for another run - I'm getting used to it again now. However walking around the car I had a 'OH SHIT' moment.

Here we are on the drive ready to go - see anything wrong ? Other than the day was already so dull we already needed the lights on at 2:00 pm.

What I spotted was a smashed headlight glass.

Not irreplaceable - but not fun either. However the run was good - the heater working well now and yet to be put back 'on'. After that it was the MK2 for a quick utility trip.

Still looking quite clean - although it is not. Oh and I still need to fix the seat runner.

Finally a request for an evening job - so I took the most inappropriate car ... as a bit of a test.

I learned several things. The light switch is still faulty and turns the ignition off if you are not quick. You can't see what gear you are in. There are strange lights/reflections as you go past things. No reversing lights.

But overall I managed it - even if it was only 4 miles.
