Then decided to bite the bullet and get the E-type out. Not sure why I had hesitated since the new battery was fitted a week ago and before that it was a clean after the clutch was fixed - so not much use in the August sunchine.
Anyway it's always a delight and did not dissappoint. I do think the exhaust is blowing more though.
