So it's back. The Aston Martin Vantage with the V12 Engine. Also that means the fleet are together again - first time since late February.
"So what do you think it's going to be like ? It is Fantastic. It's Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful."
Indeed, and no it did not make me feel sad - but I do need to re-lean to drive it. I thought the Ferrari had effortless power but this is like a Dreadnaught unleashing all guns. So where do we go first ?
Home and yes it fits nicely (well snugly) into the new garage. I might even get the tyres in there as well at the end.
Next task was to get the Talbot started - so the warming process began - mind you so did the rain. So after being warmed for 2 hours it was still a bit hard to start - mind you it's been left in there since I cleaned it mid July.
I turned it over for oil pressure a few times and then with the hand throttle open I pumped the pedal a few times it stuttered, fired on a few and then eventually started. I left it idle for about 10 mins to come up to temperature then put the front battery back on charge.
So hopefully it will be easier to start for Sunday - oh and we'll probably see how water proof it is too.
