Re-Crossing Continents

Well it's only a few miles but it feels like it.

Anyway it was 8:45 and we're off having checked the route. It was only 24 degrees though at that time of day, but within 5 miles we hit this.

Yes a diversion for a closed road - at least the day before we'd learnt the term: Umleitung. So after a little scenic run we were back on track. By 9:50 we had passed through to Belgium and 28 degrees.

By 10:55 we were at the Waremme services basking in 32.5 degrees for a quick change over and loo.

Off again by 11:00 and parked up at the fexiplus by 14:18. By then it was 19.5 degrees and heavy rain when we were queuing for the train.

While waiting in the queue I had spotted this.

It must be the final time the Dinard Concours use my photo !

It was sunny again when we crossed into the UK and we got back by 6:15 - obviously the the worst traffic and delays being the M25, Dartford Bridge and the A13 all in the UK.
