Off to Monmcontour somewhere up in the hills about 30 miles away from home. SAAB still persevering although I'm really treating it kindly on steep hills and changing down. Here we are parked up by the walls. Another Free car park we noted.
On the way back I spotted this Renault. It's not being loved I suspect.
We made our sandwiches on the boot cover - like he old days when we changed nappies on the old 9000 one - then lunch was in a truck stop /car park avoiding the impending rain. Thank god for the good tailgate on the SAAB I can sit on/in as it drizzled.
Late afternoon off to the dump as per usual.
Then a frustrating set of trips trying to buy gas. The first problem was that we did not remember of we needed Propane or Butane ? The second was that it seems the nice lady in the petrol station kiosk has been replaced by a machine. We tried to work it out and translated some instructions but we still did not really know if it would work. The French instructions were baffling even when we translated them, but we got there in the end.
Oh and it is Butane by the way last bought in 2012 !
