Not in the Rats Nest

So another morning on the Alpine to sort out the head lights this time.

Looking at the Rats Nest under the dash I wondered do I cut the Red or the Blue wire ?

Neither as it turned out. The problem was elsewhere - some where I had not been working on in fact - the Dip Switch.

No I did not really believe it either - but I fixed it anyway. Then buoyed up by that success I decided to change the bumper and fir the spotlights.

The trick I remembered was to take everything off in one large unit (bumper/over riders/fittings) and then swap them onto the new bumper on the ground. Then fit it all back as one piece. That went well as did the wiring up - although the wires could be a bit tidier - but I was running out of time.

So there we are - Winter suit on. Hopefully Spring is around the corner in a few months and the top can come off again.

Then a short run to Harkstead and back pre-walk - noticing that my fix from yesterday means the indicators don't fir quite right ! Mk7 for the return.

A good day's work - but more hangovers to cure.
