6:45 am start to take the Aston to Grange for its service. Warm but misty morning.
The run took almost two hours with the traffic and the two sets of roadworks. Ho Hum. Nice (ish) Vantage F1 in the showroom.
Turns out they bought the old Keith Pointing business and kept the 'facilities'. The workshop manager was Pointing's - so the Imp will be in good hands. They were also happy to try and help me get it back on the road. I don't think it's this rural even near us ...
Then after a run into Southend proper and Leigh on Sea in the MK7 we headed back to Brentwood in the afternoon. They advised Michelin tyres when I need to change them.
The run home was better and I even got back before the heavy rains hit. Car felt very good - but then it always does.
So New or Old ? I'll take one of each please.
