You know that never really happens.
But first we had to sail back from Titchmarsh - up at 5:30 and off into the misty morning just before 6:00. Then MK7 home.
Just before lunch I changed over the E-type washer motor.
It was quite easy to do - although the wiring was not the same - not sure what that will mean. The problem was that it blew the pipe off and covered the car in fluid. I put a tiny cable clip on it and it seemed to hold.
PM MK2 - this time to the allotment - and back again.
Then E-type out to the marina. Odd noise though - like an electrical ticking or shorting. I narrowed it down to the alarm relay that is operated by the door switch.
So I came back and added more padding under the striker plate - then set off again. It ticked once and then stopped - so it's went away rather than fixed on reflection.
A few thumbs up there and back which was gratifying.
Finally I topped up the Imp water for tomorrow's run - it's going the be very hot.
ION: A new C-19 strain is doing the rounds BA2.86 - should we be worried ? Not yet.
