Decided to look at the Ferrari - not that I know what to look for - just to check we had all eight plug leads attached.
Which we did. While I was at it I discovered that the plugs are a looooog way down too.
Next up was some SAAB driving - down to the boat to try to fix the pontoon fender. The bolts were rusted on so I brought it home to get them out. The impact driver did the trick and then I forced the rusty bolts out.
Then back to Harkstead for tea and onto the boat again but in the MK7 to fit it.
Home via Harkstead to pick up the SAAB and then I decided as it was not raining we'd take the Ferrari for a run. I backed it out of the garage and yes it was still a bit lumpy. So I added a dose of Redex to the fuel and off we went. I held it in third and almost red-lined it a few times. After a spirited run of about 25 miles we were running more smoothly.
Ragged it clean - but I need to do it more often.
Also noticed the first of the Yerw tree berries on the ground.
