Alpine on the next Stage

SAAB down to see the Alpine mid afternoon.

Basically they are getting the car ready for the first base coat with a bit of filler to smooth out the panel joins etc.

But should the sills have visible joins ? Turns out after some research that they are covered over (lead loaded) on the Series I cars - that's one mark on the concourse then ...

Good news is that it's a much shorter run - bad news is that the new facility is next to three huge commercial chicken sheds - so it stinks !
