Golf first - washed and run round the block to dry off. I gave the wheels some more attention too.
Then the Ferrari out again. I looked at the cars in the garage as I got it out and thought how spoilt I am.

Aston out for a utility and shopping run.
Then PM MK2 out and about too for a run around looking for a post office that was open. Usual good run although it did stall once when maneuvering and the rev counter went away but came back a few minutes later.
Sorted out the shed to get the new bubble in - it's a bit 'more' packed now.
While that was happening I had the fan on the Imp warming it up. Then I put three squirts of oil in each of the four rocker covers.
I noticed there was a bit of 'fur' around one of the water pipes and also that it needed a lot of water to top it up over a liter in fact. Plus the old mixture had got mold inside it - so I made up a new batch. It had dropped a bit of oil from the rear too - so that will need topping up.
Anyway it started after a few tries and ran well - I took it for a short run and it sounded as noisy as ever. But no worse.
Then as it was a sunny afternoon I took the Ferrari out around the block and topped up with fuel.
Finally one of the dark team to pick up some wine.
Quick SAAB jaunt to drop off the MK7 for work. Then back via Oil's to drop off stuff - when there I also noticed a large bit of metal falling off the SAAB back exhaust.
Anyway - I decided to get the E-Type warm - so put the fan heater on it for quite a while as it had not even been started in almost 4 months, While that was warming I attended to a few jobs - such as removing what appeared to be an outer cover for the exhaust.
You can see the rough edge where I ripped it off. I suspect we'll be visiting Abbotts soon.
So back at the E-type I hit a small snag - the immobilizer would not turn off. Ah SHIT I thought and had a little panic before thinking that I must have disturbed a power wire working on the steering... or the earth perhaps.
Well, first think we got our first dose Covid-19 jab. Some of the Pfizer, Inc., and BioNTech stuff that had to be stored at -80c.
I always was a fan of BNT162b2.
So to celebrate I got the Ferrari out of the bubble and went round the block. Oh it went well and started first time both times I tried.
Golf into town for the dentist :(
Well the sun shone (mostly) so the Alpine got a run out.
First of the year - started without the fan heater too.
Ran James home to Brixton in a packed SAAB. Expected a good run but it was still 5+ hours in the car.
With the sun shining, the traffic and people out and about it seemed like we had never had Covid.
Sprang the Alpine first thing - it started first time too - after 90 mins on the heater.
SAAB to the boat to deliver paint - we're still in lockdown of course so we can't do the work ourselves.
I seem to have stayed in again and not looked at the cars at all.
I did visit some of them though so that counts. And finally:
Oh and I got another front cover #3.
SAAB out to babysit EB first thing - in the last of the snow. Rain was washing it away.
ION: the NHS etc. have vaccinated 15m people now. That's a lot - our turn next. No time to relax lockdown but there is light at the end of the tunnel ?
Snow slowly melting and turning to wet slush - and the roads are covered in salt.
SAAB run out short distance which was all.
Managed a short trip to fill the SAAB with petrol - first for a while I thought. Looking clean after the snow was removed.
Early and unexpected SAAB run in the morning. The roads were fine though.
The just before lunchtime the Caterham arrived in the van.
Clean and looking inviting. Although the started went 'click' the first time I turned the key ... it has had a new earth strap so that probably needs bedding in - I hope. The could not resist a picture in the snow before I put it away.
I spent the morning moving snow off the cars. It was a lot of snow and colder than I though too.
From this ...
To this ...
- well OK one car is missing I know but you get the gist.
Then SAAB for a short run to give the battery a boost.
More snow and the cars are being left to their own devices.
Awoke to find much more snow on the ground and on the car too.
Corrected the SAAB clock - so we're not back in 2007 ...
Those were the days: Interest rate 5.25%, Tony Blair stepped down as Prime Minister, the Smoking Ban arrived, floods devastate part of the country, Northern Rock collapsed and Digital Television started.
Happy days.
Mk2 out and around the block for a run in the sunshine.
Then SAAB out to take photos - just as the sun hid behind a cloud. I noticed that the clock said 2007 too.
Oh well - at least it seemed to start ok today.
Started the Caterham (and the Mk2) as it was being collected today.
No car news today. All day inside.
ION: 10m - That's the number of vaccines now given in the UK. That's a good sign.
Dreary day so went for a walk and got caught in the rain. Ho Hum.
ION: Covid is slowly recessing now although mutant strains are popping up. So far So good... Might be out of lockdown by Summer after all.
Two cars out and swapped about. The Alpine started easily and the Caterham too after a fab heater blast.
