More Aero miles - smiled at soft top Morris Minor on the road though - and nice dark blue Audi R8. 

50p Fix

Fixed the e-type water leak with a 50p gasket. 

Not sure why there were none on there to start with ?

Test drive as the drizzle started but seemed to go even better than usual. 

Then the rattle started. 

That's next week's task. 

Mouching about

In the Aero. Not a special car to be seen on the road at all.

New gaskets on the way for the E-Type though.

Then the sun came out again so took the 308 round the block and moved the e-type into the garage to work on it tomorrow. 

That's more like it

Sun and sixty miles in Mr E.

Found forgotten Suffolk and had a picnic. 

Took a few pics too and got the car valued. 

Finally followed a V8 vantage roadster home. 

SAAB nation

Drizzle on 'drive it day' put an end to any classic car action. 

So more DIY tripping. Brace of SAABs put a small smile on my face though. 

Then final dash in the Alpine in the dying sun. 

Garage peak

Went into both garages - about it really. 

Friday workhorse

SAAB'ing a bit. That's about it. 

E for even more rattles

Couple of runs in E-type. 

Rattle seems worse - tried tightening and taping up the throttle linkage but did not change - so probably something under the car. 

Water leak from the top too - small but consistant. 

Still goes well though !

E to B

Or E to F anyway. 

Aston out for a shopping trip and traffic jam. 

E-type to boat in the failing sunlight afterwards to find the part does not fit. See it's just like a classic car. 

Rattle from E-type seems to be getting louder - something is getting looser I guess. 

E-type run

70 miles across Suffolk in the spring sunshine - still 'pinks' occasionally but at least the window works well !

A tale of two Golfs

Took the MK2 to the garage for MOT and look at the leaks. 

Other Golf toured peninsula looking for boat parts. 

More Aero action

Load lugging a chest of draws. 

Couple of VW Golf GTis on the road and the odd Porsche but nothing exciting. 

Nice dark V8 Vantage though in Ely. 

One Jag good - two Jags better

Even if it's a S3 V12 in pond green.  

Nice to follow it off the slip road onto the A12 - much to people's astonishment. 

308 outing twice in the late pm - recycling and shops. Windows working again. 

Alpine Dumper truck

Alpine to the do to give it a run this morning.

Final evening run in Ferrari truncated by gridlock for 45 mins due to crash on the bridge 😞

Aston swapping

Aston to garage for winter wheel swap to summer tyres - plus first MOT. 

Power still surprises me after two plus years. Advantage of several cars - they don't get stale. 

Traffic delays all the way down the A12 tempered my fun, then slow running trains reminded me of the state the countries infrastructure is in. 

Golf to Rassy

Probably a lot of that this year. 

Boat becoming more like a classic car every day eg: dropped boat hook and had to retrieve it in the lock, lost rope off the mast and finally broke a catch clean off. It pinged into the murky marina water but we got it back and worked out it was fitted wrong way round. 

Glorious sunny day though for first sail. 

Monday sunshine

But left the cars in the garage. 

Soft top boat

E-type to marina to drop off bits and bobs. Appreciative looks as we waft by. 

Rassy has huge soft top - so an honnary car. 

Eco fool on Saturday

Went recycling in Aston - needed petrol so two birds with one gallon. 

Then 308 round the block in the dying sunshine - window sticking now. 

Sun out - alpine out

Aero to the boat and Alpine to MOT in the sun. Passed. 

Also golf circuit after filling it with 5* petrol - going well but needs leaks fixing, oh and bodywork. 

Aero by the sea

SAAB again lugging sails around this time. 

Guess what ?

Aero to B&Q - nothing else exciting. 

Until the evening drive in the Vantage - thumbs up from young SAAB driver who wound down his window to hear the glorious snarl of the V12. 

Drive full again

Lots of trucks today - nothing for the fleet though. 

April 5

Another Aston on the drive - Adam's DB9 - the colour is growing on us too. A very early car and it's been prone to a few niggles. 

More moving around

Load lugging again in Aero. Shuffling cars on the drive. Oli leak from Golf a worry. 

Need a van ?

Ok it's not mine - but a good spot. Weather dull Aero only. 

Day two

More Aero - DIY and shopping trips. 

Then sun stayed out late into a cold evening. Run in the E-type to cap the day. 

Spring(ish) Start - April 1st

Starting blog again - but dull day. 

Aston and 308 action - but only moving out of and back into - the garage to measure up for electric doors. 

Dull and windy so mostly SAAB Aero action to boat and back - twice.
