Check water, oil, screen wash and tyres for seven cars takes time.

At least it stayed fine for a blast in several of them.

Bright sunny dry but very cold day - Aston to Halfords - what else would a boy want.

Monday back into the Focus.

Alpine - A New Hope

Clutch still siezed but with a bit of brute force it freed off. Starting the car in gear a few times and shocking it awake.

It's been unused since early September so about 5 months sitting.

Good news though as the rain came in the afternoon to wash the salt off the roads.

Even the Focus I seem to park in the bushes - well it is very dark when I get home.

Alpine Idea

I thought perhaps there was not enough fluid in the clutch reservoir - but no it was basically full.

Dull shitty day with the snow melting off the cars.

E-type dash - Alpine misery

Clear skies and dry roads so got e-type started and ran round the block.

The when I tried to get the Alpine into reverse to move it, it would not go into gear. I do wonder how I'm going to get it fixed...

Zero

Zero degrees - SAAB again - that's five on the trot.

SAAB perfume

I spotted a brand if perfume ... ELIE SAAB not sure what it was though. Just made me look.

Anyway 4th day below zero degrees and SAAB pressed in to action.

I'd resolved to work on the Alpine and start the jag but it was too cold last weekend.
I suspect I'll cry off this one too.

Saw a Volvo Amazon yesterday that made mr resolve to get back to it.

Frozen everywhere

Using SAAB and heated seats

Minus 7 down by the river and the SAAB hand break is freezing solid.
Luckily frozen off - but frozen never the less.

Snow arrived last night

9:00 am 3 inches.

And James had already been out sliding about learning about driving in the snow.

Light snow, car starts better in the cold too.

Too cold to work on Alpine or start up the e-type.

SAAB seats on stun ! Well they warm me up at least.
