Well Potting shed electrics. SAAB to DIY shop - rain stopped play.

300 miles only. Not much petrol in France - queues on the forecourts.

Queues for the ferry too.

Ferrari not an easy car to jack up either - front almost toutches the floor when you jack it up...

Drove all 3 short distances and my throttle was fixed again.

Run A12 and into service. Went well.

Autumn Closes in

Drove E-Type back in the gloom. 6:15 getting dark. Nice view of white lights on dash.

Service and MOT tomorrow off at 7:00

Mr E 2 days Running

and still overfueling I think. Sunny evenings - misty mornings and trafic jams into town. Did not misbehave at all though.

Four Up

Quick blast in 308 last of the good sunny days, although it did not want to start so resorted to the blow heater.

Saw lots of classics - rarest of all was a AC Trident I think. Also TVR Tuscan, MG's and Vauxall VX220.

Weekend included all 4 - alpine twice, 308, e-type and even started the G4.

Well just warm Ford. But interesting I could get used to the small cat and the convenience, fuel economy, warmth etc.

Must get the Alpine out again and freeze my ass off next week. In the sun/mist/rain.

More Blue SAAB Miles

Back from Wakie.

A1 no longer has roundabouts !

It's Tuesday it must be Wakefield

220 swift miles in the SAAB up the ever lovely A14 and M1. It's a bit warmer than the last time I was here (15th Dec last year) just before the bad snow.

Coffee Tray

OK so using the SAAB rear spoiler as a coffee tray works a treat - until you open the boot...

Low expectations

But got E out for a circuit. The back to the red garage.

Alpine would not start - Probably dirty plugs and not being started for a week or so - and getting colder. Time for the fan heater.

Which worked a treat - so gave it a short blast in the rain.

Parked Focus on the slab - fits well.

Noah's bulding a v8 in the car park. Rained again at 4:00 as I was thinking of getting Mr. E out.

And the government are thinking of giving people cash to buy electric cars. TCO. Not just filling up.

Load Lugging

SAAB - to Ikea ! Gosh - but the desk did not fit so had to drive back with boot open.
