End of a drive
... well the end of the drive waiting to go into the garage.
Sunny Alpine run.

Rain Early
Good choice - Rain in the morning
Monday, 28 June 2010
Sunny side up
Took a gleaming E to work.
Sunday, 27 June 2010
Shopping Car
Large boot !
Pics to follow...
Cleaning and polishing Me E for the run to Le Mans.
Saturday, 26 June 2010
Let there be light
OK no power to the right main beam so put a new wire in all the way.
A bit of a bodge basically but it's done and safe.
Now for the test drive in the hot sun.
Humour from slightly odd man who staggered past the car and marvelled over it - then asked to touch it - made his day.
Friday, 25 June 2010
Plant Nation
Now hemmed in by plants on the drive - Alpine running fine. E-Type work tomorrow.
Thursday, 24 June 2010
Reflections
Sun off the dials in the morning. Warm enough to be driving with no coat. Sun glasses.
Ah and English Summer starts.
Wednesday, 23 June 2010
S-U-N
Like it says on the boot. Shining all day and a drive home in the warm air.
Tuesday, 22 June 2010
Sweden Again
So SAAB still rescued by odd Dutch sports car maker - also ex-
aircraft
manufacturer.
What will come next ? 99, 900, 92, 9000, 95 - not many numbers left - what do they signify ?
Lots of commuting and nice Porsche at the station.
Alpine tomorrow.
Monday, 21 June 2010
Red lights
SAAB action to station.
Parked next to a big black cockroach (well BMW). Nice Porsche in the City.
Run back was sunny and deserved a sports car.
Sunday, 20 June 2010
Tin Time
Wiz in 308 to mums. Nice drive, passed old blue car (Talbot ?), a US monster and buzzed by bright yellow Lotus Elise.
80 miles - rattle on that door again now. Oil level good.
Saturday, 19 June 2010
Showers all day
B&Q and trusty SAAB
Friday, 18 June 2010
Double Dipping
Took Alpine in - under the grey clouds.
Popped at home and swapped over to the SAAB as the rain started to spit.
Then nothing.
Thursday, 17 June 2010
MG in the Dark
Or at least I think it was - a red TC or TD I would guess. Station run in the SAAB. Alpine tomorrow I hope weather permitting.
Me E needs a run over the new grass at the weekend and the Tin.
Wednesday, 16 June 2010
Sun after dull start
Sunny drive home in the Apline. Nice farty nose - steering quick odd still - just to responsive and the steering wheel needs tweaking round.
But having salf cancelling indicators is still a new experience !
Tuesday, 15 June 2010
Quick nip in
Nipped in to work in the Alpine. A bit breezy on the way home and black clouds looming. But it's supposed to be Summer they cried !
Monday, 14 June 2010
Even Ipswich Has Traffic Jams
Dull drive in as the rain was waiting in the sky and the road was blocked.
Sunday, 13 June 2010
Sailing not driving
SAAB nip to marina, rewarded by ice blue Austin Healey and the odd porker.
Saturday, 12 June 2010
No time left for cars
Highlight was red 1970's 911 taga leaving the bypasss.
Friday, 11 June 2010
Rain at first
Sun later.
Thursday, 10 June 2010
Turf Wars
Now Boxed in behind all the turf on the drive - high hopes will get the drive back next week though.
Problem - no access to the garage other than over the new grass ....
Wednesday, 9 June 2010
Sneaking out between the showers
Nice evening and got out before the rain.
Tuesday, 8 June 2010
Plod Plod
SAAB again in the rain.
Monday, 7 June 2010
Working 9-5
Week of drizzle I think, after rain at the weekend. Just SAAB action.
Sunday, 6 June 2010
Sunday Storms
Rain - stopping any classic action this weekend.
Check the e-type and found the green wire to the green wire from the green wire to the reversing lights and disconnected it. So we have indicators etc. again but no blown fuses.
So a small job done.
Saturday, 5 June 2010
Denied
Friday, 4 June 2010
Sun shone a bit more
Thursday, 3 June 2010
Another warm run home
In the sun - in the Alpine.
Wednesday, 2 June 2010
Bloody Birds
Why do they dive bomb the car at work ?
Tuesday, 1 June 2010
Rain and commuting again
Had to wash the SAAB yesterday as it was soooo dirty.
Sun tomorrow and Alpine fun ?
