OK no power to the right main beam so put a new wire in all the way.

A bit of a bodge basically but it's done and safe.

Now for the test drive in the hot sun.

Humour from slightly odd man who staggered past the car and marvelled over it - then asked to touch it - made his day.

Now hemmed in by plants on the drive - Alpine running fine. E-Type work tomorrow.

Sweden Again

So SAAB still rescued by odd Dutch sports car maker - also ex-aircraft manufacturer.

What will come next ? 99, 900, 92, 9000, 95 - not many numbers left - what do they signify ?

Lots of commuting and nice Porsche at the station.

Red lights

SAAB action to station.

Parked next to a big black cockroach (well BMW). Nice Porsche in the City.

Run back was sunny and deserved a sports car.

Wiz in 308 to mums. Nice drive, passed old blue car (Talbot ?), a US monster and buzzed by bright yellow Lotus Elise.

80 miles - rattle on that door again now. Oil level good.

Took Alpine in - under the grey clouds.

Popped at home and swapped over to the SAAB as the rain started to spit.

Me E needs a run over the new grass at the weekend and the Tin.

Sun after dull start

Sunny drive home in the Apline. Nice farty nose - steering quick odd still - just to responsive and the steering wheel needs tweaking round.

But having salf cancelling indicators is still a new experience !

Quick nip in

Nipped in to work in the Alpine. A bit breezy on the way home and black clouds looming. But it's supposed to be Summer they cried !

Dull drive in as the rain was waiting in the sky and the road was blocked.

Rain - stopping any classic action this weekend.

Check the e-type and found the green wire to the green wire from the green wire to the reversing lights and disconnected it. So we have indicators etc. again but no blown fuses.

So a small job done.
